OUR STORY

Gavin & Sarah McLaren

Sarah is a cowgirl at heart. Being a cowgirl was her dream since she was a little girl. She grew up around horses, riding ever since she can remember. She started lessons at age 11 and was competing by age 14. She competed in youth rodeo age 16 to 19 and did high school rodeo her senior year in barrel racing, pole bending and goat tying. She achieved her dream of rodeoing at Harrisburg Farm Show high school rodeo in 2013. She is still chasing her dream of Pro Rodeo and going back to the farm show to compete in circuit finals. However, she has found that she loves teaching and helping others achieve their dreams even more and feels so blessed to be able to do both, especially alongside her supportive and loving husband, Gavin.

Gavin has always had some cowboy in him. He was around horses but never had the chance to really ride and work with them a whole lot until college where he started trail riding and caring for horses. Upon being told what a natural he was with horses, he really dug in and started really studying natural horsemanship, communicating with the horse in a way they understand and helping horses find what they love to do. In his wife's words "when he rides bareback he looks like he's glued on the horse as they move together as one."

Gavin and Sarah love what they do. Being able to work with and help humans and horses alike enjoy life to the fullest and reach beyond their wildest dreams to a potential they didn't even know was there brings them great joy - to find their God-given purpose in life.
